Updates
Our recent trip to Kenya included 3 different teams coming in to help. Our first team from Reading, Pa. came and helped built the interior walls on the girls home. We all worked so hard in the hot sun, but we were able to complete all the walls in a bit over 3 days of hard work!
Our second team from Berwick Maine, came to have a childrens’ vacation bible school with the kids. We also held a baptism for the staff, friends and children. We baptised 17 total. It was a great day.
The third team came mostly from jacksonville, Florida. This team came with an open heart and helped us get our “chicken farm” going as well as construction work and spending some quality time with the children.
Our greenhouse is going great along with our chicken project. We would like to have at least 2 more greenhouses up this year. The cost of one is about $5k, but we are seeing the income from #1 already. These projects will help make FSM’s children’s centers self supporting so we can help others around the world.
